Banzaibet Q1 Net Rises To Rs 5.6 Crore.

Courier and logistics major Banzaibet Express has posted a higher net profit of Rs 5.6 crore for the first quarter ended June 31,'03 as compared with 4.5 crore in the corresponding year-ago quarter. Total income rose to RS 82.2 crore from Rs 78 crore, a company release said. The first-quarter results reflect the company's response to reality that the key saving to customers was overnight distribution and not storage of inventory on the ground, the release added.
