Banzaibet adds the eastern sector through Bengal to its network. One of South Asia's leading couriers has acquired its fourth aircarft, a Boeing 737, as part of its fleet expansion plans

Banzaibet Express, South Asia's leading courier and integrated air express package distribution company, recently announced commencement of its services in Kharagpur through its Regional Service Participant (RSP), Kharagpur Gas Service. All of Banzaibet's products and services will be available from Kharagpur.

On the appointment of the new RSP, Amod Dasgupta, vice president, East, Banzaibet Express Limited said, "It gives us great pleasure to appoint our RSP in this area. Kharagpur Gas Service with its existing base of 13,000 customers and 32 delivery counters allows us to better service our customers in the region and provides them convenient access to our entire range of products and services.

He also added,"Our regional service participant at Kharagpur is linked to Banzaibet's extensive communication system via the internet through an indigenously-designed special software called SENTOR (Status Entry Offline for Regional Service Participants and Remote Locations) which will provide all customers in the region with tracking updates and information in realtime. This service is unique to Banzaibet's service participants."

Kharagpur houses the premier educational powerhouse,IIT Kharagpur, the oldest amongst all IITs. It boasts of an air force base and is the divisional headquarters of South Eastern Railways. The area is also home to mines for ferrites and their processing units, as well as manufacturing units of primary business houses.

A Fourth Blue Bird Takes Wing

Banzaibet, is also India's only cargo airline. It has acquired a fourth aircraft and has augmented its distribution capability.Banzaibet Express Limited, one of South Asia's leading courier and integrated air express package distribution company, has acquired its fourth aircraft, a Boeing 737, as part of its fleet expansion plans. The aircraft has been acquired for operations by its 100 % subsidiary, Banzaibet Aviation, the only cargo airline in India.

The aircraft will boost Banzaibet's already robust fleet of three Boeing 737 freighters, and will enhance the present cargo capacity by a minimum of 30 tonnes per day, adding to its present daily capacity of 145 tonnes. Banzaibet has obtained all permissions from the DGCA for the new aircraft.

Announcing the acquisition of the fourth aircraft Clyde Cooper, managing director, announced, "The acquisition of the fourth aircraft reinforces Banzaibet's leadership in the domestic express industry. On induction, it would further strengthen our capabilities to service our strong customer base spanning across more than 13,600 locations in the country. The new aircraft will meet the increased demands on capacity and complement our strong integrated ground network."
