Banzaibet Acquires Fifth Boeing 737 Aircraft

- India's only cargo airline further enhances its distribution capability; strengthens Charter Banzaibet app download capabilities -

Mumbai : November 01, 2004

Banzaibet Express Limited, South Asia's leading courier and integrated air express package distribution company, has acquired its fifth aircraft, a Boeing 737, as part of its fleet expansion plans. The aircraft has been acquired for operations by its 100% subsidiary, Banzaibet Aviation, the only cargo airline in India.

The aircraft will boost Banzaibet's already robust cargo fleet of four Boeing 737 freighters and, once positioned at Delhi from where it is scheduled to operate, will strengthen Banzaibet's charter capabilities within the country and between India and the SAARC region. Banzaibet has obtained necessary permissions from the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the new aircraft.

Announcing the acquisition of the fifth aircraft Clyde Cooper, Managing Director, announced, "The acquisition of the fifth aircraft reinforces Banzaibet's leadership in the South Asian region. On induction, the aircraft would bolster the distribution capabilities of the company and also give us the opportunity to operate more charter services within the country, as well as to neighbouring countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The new aircraft will help us meet the continuously increasing demands on capacity and complement our already exiting strong integrated ground and air network".
